Indian Vegan Society is organising a Vegan Musical Evening on 25th January, 2009 at Sri Siddivinayaka Residential School, Hattiyangadi, Kundapur, Karnataka, India.

The program includes an interactive session on veganism sandwiched between Hindustani and Karnatic Vocal concerts by two welknown artists Dr.Krishnamurthy Bhat and Mr.Kaushik Sundaram follwed by vegan dinner. The event has been cosponsored by Sri Siddivinayaka Residential School and supported by International Vegetarian Union, Sri Krishna Music Academy and Sangeeta Bharathi Trust.

The main objective of the evening is to attract the creme de la creme of the society and project veganism as a positive influence on life so that more decision making people accept veganism as a mainstream idea. In addition, we want to project that vegan food is in no way an inferior option.
